Studio Policies

To reserve your portrait session date and time, a session fee is required at the time of booking. Sessions may be rescheduled once; additional changes or missed appointments will result in forfeiture of the session fee. If someone in your family is feeling ill, please contact me as soon as possible and we will find a new date.

Outdoor sessions are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled or moved to my Highland Park studio if needed. Family sessions include immediate family members, with extended family sessions available for an additional fee.

To create the best possible experience, please do not bring cameras or take photos with cell phones during your session. Basic retouching is included with your session fee.

After your portrait session, we will meet in person or on Zoom for your viewing appointment. This is when you will select your favorite images and decide how you would like to display them. Due to the custom nature of portrait artwork, all orders are final. A 50% deposit is required when placing your order, with the remaining balance due before delivery.

Current pricing is honored for 60 days following your session. Unordered images are removed after your ordering appointment to make room for new clients.

Julie Kaplan Photography retains the copyright to all images. Purchased digital files are provided for personal use and may not be altered, scanned, reproduced, or used commercially beyond the license provided.
